Business Improvement Plan

Greenspace Services

Blacktown City Council engaged Xyst to identify gaps in their parks, gardens, sports fields and playgrounds operations and recommend steps to bridge these gaps. This ensures the Greenspace Business Unit are well-informed and positioned to plan and deliver high-quality, economically sustainable open space services, that meet current and future demands, while fulfilling community expectations.

The review will prioritise recommendations on strategies, processes, and policies, allowing Blacktown City Council to invest resources into the most critical changes first and then address subsequent improvements in order of importance. This approach will help establish an operational business that functions in a planned environment, guided by accurate data, processes, policies, and strategic direction.

Project Benefit

The project intent is to identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery, strategic planning, operational structure, financial management, and operational services, and provide actionable recommendations as part of your Greenspace Business Improvement Plan.
