Contract Review

Provision of Weed Eradication Services

Council engaged Xyst to undertake an independent health check of its weed eradication services contract to assess the effectiveness, efficiency and suitability of current service delivery arrangements.

The review examined the contract structure, pricing model, cost drivers, risk allocation and performance framework, benchmarked against industry standards and comparable councils.

The assessment included stakeholder interviews with Council officers, contractor representatives and contract managers, alongside a review of contractual documentation, KPI reporting and site inspections.

The project identified opportunities to strengthen service delivery, performance management, innovation and procurement approaches, resulting in practical recommendations to support best-practice, future service delivery.
