Budget Estimates – Sports Lighting Improvements
We assessed the condition and performance of lighting on 14 sports parks and provided budget estimates, along with general advice modern sports lighting, field layout and optimisation.
Pookeno Multi-Purpose Court Lighting
Xyst undertook preliminary lighting design and specification for a refurbished multi-purpose sports court, along with a technical review of the selected supplier. The outcome was a high quality 350 lux LED lighting scheme using Musco Lighting luminaires that is fully shielded, avoiding light spill for neighbours and protecting the night sky.

Sportsground Assessment Report
Xyst worked with the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute (NZSTI) to understand the City’s sportsground conditions. Areas requiring capital investment were identified, risks were discussed and recommendations were provided to the client.
